Jeroen Coenders graduated from Delft University of Technology with honours in 2004 on Form Finding and Structural Optimisation. In 2004 he joined Arup as a structural engineer and to start a computation group. In 2004 he also started a PhD research into a next generation of structural design tools and NetworkedDesign as part of his leadership of the Structural Design Lab at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences of Delft University of Technology.
Currently, Jeroen Coenders leads a computation group for Arup in Amsterdam. He also is the leader of the BEMNext Laboratory.
